Based out of San Jose in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Law Office of Eben Kurtzman has had attorneys making appearances at court since 2002.  Court scheduling conflicts occur.  Accidents and illness happen.  Cars break down.  And sometimes you just need to take some time for yourself and take a vacation.  At those times when you just cannot get to court yourself, we provide experienced attorneys to stand in for you.

Below you will find links to our current price list and our appearance scheduling form.  We send invoices by email and those invoices have online credit card and ACH payment options, but we also provide a credit card payment authorization form for those clients who prefer the convenience of having us keep their credit card information on file, and you will find a link for that form as well. 

When requesting court coverage, we ask that you use our form to submit the appearance information and return it to us by email.  We will reply by email during our business hours (9:00am – 4:30pm) to confirm receipt of emailed requests.

If you have an emergency that necessitates giving us the information while you are away from your office, appearance information can be given to us by text to 408-309-5137 or verbally* at 408-295-2105.  First-priority will be given to covering appearances submitted in writing.  Please give us the most complete and accurate information possible about your matter so that our attorneys can do the best job representing you at court.

We ask a minimum of a full business day’s advance notice to cover appearances.  Due to the nature of the business, emergency appearances are to be expected and we will always do our best to find coverage for you.  There is a nominal rush fee.
